Mawlānā Kamil Sakhi grew up in Flushing, New York. After completing middle school in 2011, he enrolled in the 7-year ʿĀlim Course program at Darul ʿUloom New York and graduated with high honors top position in 2018. During the ʿĀlim Course, he would travel to New Jersey on the weekends to complete the 10 modes of Qur’ānic recitation (ʿAshara Qirā’āt) under Muftī Abdul Muqtadir, the student of Qārī Aḥmadullāh of Dabhel, India. Mawlānā Kamil was one of the first two students to complete all 10 modes of Qur’ānic Recitation. Mawlānā Ṣāḥib’s spiritual mentor is Shaykh al-Ḥadīth Mawlānā Rafiq Ahmad (May Allāh protect him), the Khalīfah of Mawlānā Abrār al-Ḥaq (May Allāh have mercy on him).After graduating from ʿĀlim Course, Mawlānā Ṣāḥib intended to further his studies in legal verdicts and Islāmic law.

So, upon constant Changes to the new website request to his beloved teacher, Mufti Manzoor, to initiate the Iftā’ program in Darul ʿUloom, by the grace of Allāh, the Iftā’ department commenced in 2018. Thereafter, the honorable Mawlānā enrolled in the Iftā’ Course at Darul ʿUloom, and studied under the head Muftī, Muftī Manzoor Ahmed, who is the student of the world-renowned scholar Muftī Taqi Uthmani. Mawlānā Ṣāḥib graduated in 2020 as one of the first graduates from the Iftā’ department. After graduation, he was honored to be a member of American Fiqh Academy. On October 9th , 2020, under the supervision of his teachers, he founded Al-Hikmah Institute. Mawlānā Ṣāḥib started teaching part time from the young age of 15 and over the years 2012-2023 he has served as a teacher and lecturer in different masājid such as Masjid As-Saliheen in Flushing, Queens, Masjid Hamza in Valley Stream, Long Island, Masjid Bilal in Farmingdale, Long Island and Hillside Islamic Center in New Hyde Park, Long Island where he was awarded with the honor of being a great teacher. Mawlānā Ṣāḥib also served as an assistant Imam in Afghan Masjid Jamaluddin and Dar al-Taqwa both in Queens, New York. Currently, he serves as the president and principle of Al-Hikmah Institute, and the Imam and resident scholar of Masjid Al-Baqi in Bethpage, Long Island.Mufti Hamoon

Upon becoming a Ḥāfiz, he continued his journey of seeking Islamic knowledge at Darul Uloom New York, where he underwent a rigorous 6 years of ‘Ālim course up till Mishkāt, where he was awarded as top of his class. Throughout these 6 years, with the permission of Allāh ﷻ Mawlānā Hamoon had attained fluency in 7 modes of Qur’ān recitation, with his religious pursuits being the drive for him becoming a Qāri, studying under a senior ustādh of ḥadīth and qirā’āt, one of the leading scholars of New Jersey and prized student of Qāri Ahmadullah of Dabhel, India.

By this time, Mawlānā Hamoon already found himself being asked to lead prayers and give sermons in various masājid and universities across several states in America. Igniting his passion further, He left his native country in 2018 to travel to Azaadville, South Africa, to conclude his final year of his ‘Ālim Course and eventually graduate with a Masters in Islamic Theology, in Madrasah Arabiyyah Islamiyyah; Darul Uloom Azaadville, under renowned senior scholars, including Mawlānā Abdul Hamid and Shaykh-ul Ḥadīth Mawlānā Fazlur Rahman Azmi, whom Mawlānā Hamoon was a student under for both Bukhārī and Muslim. Upon his arrival back to the states, he returned to his first Madrasah, Darul Uloom New York, and enrolled into the Iftaa program. After intensive training, Mawlānā Hamoon graduated recently (2020), being from the first band of certified jurists from the head Muftī, who is a student of the prominent Muftī Taqi Usmani. With this, Mawlānā Hamoon now serves his community in issuing fatāwā (legal verdicts). The American Fiqh Academy which are a team of academic researchers in contemporary matters, have also honored Mawlānā Hamoon into their board of specialized jurists in Hanafi fiqh. Alongside his respected Islamic Knowledge, Mawlānā Hamoon is simultaneously receiving higher education in secular knowledge-degree in Psychology. He now currently gives talks, programs, an Imam and is active in giving lectures throughout many cities in his hometown of New York.Mawlana Zubair Kahir

Mawlānā Zubair Kahir was raised in Flushing, New York. Mawlānā Zubair Kahir was raised in Flushing, New York. He first had a desire to learn how to recite the Qur’ān with tajwīd which led him to enroll in the after school maktab program in Darul Uloom New York, where he worked on his Tajwīd, and learned the basics of Islamic studies. At his time there, he loved the environment and decided to join the ʿĀlim Program in 2013. Mawlānā studied five years at Darul Uloom New York and completed his last 2 years in DarusSalam Seminary in Illinois. There his passion for ḥadīth grew and he decided to continue his studies in the field of ḥadīth. This passion took him to study ḥadith under various scholars in Turkey for a year. At his time in Turkey, Mawlānā Ṣāḥib also taught Arabic in Madrasa Al-Falaah. Upon his return to New York, he was honored to teach in Al-Hikmah Institute.Mawlānā Atiq Ullah

Mawlānā Atiq Ullah grew up in Flushing, New York. Mawlānā Atiq began studying the Islamic sciences at the age of 13 and enrolled in the ʿĀlim Course at Darul Uloom New York, graduating at the age of 19 in the year 2019 with high honors and finishing second in his class.
