He first had a desire to learn how to recite the Qur’ān with tajwīd which led him to enroll in the after school maktab program in Darul Uloom New York, where he worked on his Tajwīd, and learned the basics of Islamic studies. At his time there, he loved the environment and decided to join the ʿĀlim Program in 2013.
Mawlānā studied five years at Darul Uloom New York and completed his last 2 years in DarusSalam Seminary in Illinois. There his passion for ḥadīth grew and he decided to continue his studies in the field of ḥadīth. This passion took him to study ḥadith under various scholars in Turkey for a year. At his time in Turkey, Mawlānā Ṣāḥib also taught Arabic in Madrasa Al-Falaah. Upon his return to New York, he was honored to teach in Al-Hikmah Institute.
